At Contour Travel, we believe that travel is much more than reaching a destination. Travel brings people together, creates memories, and can make a world of difference. That's why we are particularly proud of our collaboration with VZW Baggage.
VZW Bagage is the first organization in Belgium to organize guided holidays for adults with psychological or psychiatric vulnerabilities. Their mission is clear: to lower holiday barriers, connect people, and give them the opportunity to gain new experiences together in a safe and supportive environment.
In 2024, Pieter Goedemé founded VZW Bagage after a 16-year career as a psychiatric nurse at ZAS Stuivenberg psychiatric hospital. His experience and passion for the target group are an excellent combination to develop his VZW with full energy. With a strong network of volunteers and enthusiasts, Pieter is ready to provide participants with the trip of a lifetime. Everyone deserves to look forward to a vacation, collect new stories, and completely relax for a while, which is not always a given.
A great deal of organization is required to make these trips possible. We at Contour Travel are happy to be a partner in this. We support VZW Bagage with the logistical planning of their trips, such as booking flights. This allows the VZW Bagage team to fully focus on guiding participants and creating a worry-free travel experience.
For us, this collaboration is more than just practical support. It's a partnership where we can contribute our expertise to an initiative with significant social value. In May, they traveled to Zadar, and Morocco is planned for October.
We are already looking forward to all the adventures that still await VZW Bagage!
